new apartment.

We recently decided to start the search for the ultimate TWO bedroom apartment. After looking at like 15 apartments & much negotiation. We found the perfect place for us. We are moving to a new neighborhood...finally branching out of Pacific Heights. Into NOPA (north of panhandle)...it is very close to the Golden Gate Park & the infamous Haight/Ashbury. We are really excited for the new neighborhood & all it has to offer. The building is a 6 unit building...nice & small. It has a small shared backyard which will be awesome when it warms up. And it has a fully updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances! And there is even room for a kitchen table! For all of those who have visited us...that means no more eating on laps... nick & i had a quiet new years eve. i made a fancy gourmet dinner for the two of us. but i have to share the best new cocktail. i found it online & it was delicious.

new years day, we hosted a mini dinner party with jennie, bowen, mary & roshan. it was so fun. we also made my new fav dinner - short ribs & potato gratin. my new fav food website is saveur. i never realized how many amazing recipes they had.

one of my favorite days of the year is the annual girls lunch. i miss these ladies so much, so i seriously love our tradition of lunching around christmas when kren & i are back in town. miss you girls, love you.

uncle scott turned 40 this year! crazy town. to celebrate we went out to glendale for a coyotes game! it was so fun & the new-ish arena is beautiful. we had dinner at saddleranch...which was so fun. the obvious highlight was aunt michelle & i rode the mechanical bull. outstanding.

christmas 2009.

christmas 2009 was awesome. we were able to share it with both families which was such a blessing. it was slightly exhausting having two christmas eves, two christmas breakfasts & two christmas dinners...but it was all so FUN!
