I was so happy Kara, Dave & Mason were able to come by on Sunday before we left for the airport.  It was so good to see them.  It is never enough time.  Miss them so much!

My Gram really wanted a nice family photo shoot.  So when we were home for her birthday we had one! 

Gram's 70th Birthday.

Gram celebrated her 70th birthday this month.  Nick & I were so excited we were able to make it home for the celebrations.  The weekend started at my parents' new house with a huge bash.  Then continued at Chelsea's Kitchen for lunch with the fam & dinner at BLT Steak at Camelback Inn.

beer #4. pseudo pilsner.

Casey & Nick are taking the next step in beer making with a full mash.  Basically, this means they no longer use the malt extract and they use all grain to get the fermentable sugars & flavor.  This made the hobby a lot more serious & expensive...but they swear it will pay itself off.  Based on the initial measurements they got a great efficiency.  Will keep you all posted on the beer!
