christmas time!

I REALLY don't know where this year has gone.  It has flown by.  We have had such a great 2011.  And to put up and decorate the tree with Zona was so fun.  She literally thought the balls for the tree were her toys...too funny.  Here are some fun photos of tree decorating! 

can't believe it has been 6 christmas seasons here in sf, excited for the 7th on december 10th.  a nutcracker ornament from each year we have gone since we both moved out here.  pretty special.  here is to 50 more years of our tradition.

a weekend by the sea.

Nick, Zona & I escaped the city after Thanksgiving and we had a blast in Monterey & Carmel!  It was Zona's first vacay as a Green and a practice road trip to warm her up for the big Christmas drive to Arizona.  We had a total blast!

our first attempt at bringing zona to a resto that allows dogs went relatively well...

she loves to dig in the backyard...but she gets in trouble...so to dig on the beach this gal was in heaven!

I have always been so grateful to have both old and new friends that I consider family here in SF...but I am especially grateful to have such wonderful friends(family) during the holidays when we can't make it home.  For the second year in a row, Jennie & Bowen prepared a feast and have us over for the holiday.  Here are some of the adorable photos of the big day.  And Vivi is adorable, she is Jennie's niece.
