green visit. labor day weekend 2010.

the greens came out for a visit over labor day weekend. it was such a fun trip. and we were so happy we have room to stay with us. we did A LOT. this is a quick rundown of everything we did. it is basically a photo version of francie's multiple journal entries...

"off to the giants game"
thanks to faham, we got tickets for the whole fam +casey. it was a great game & we won!

"off to anderson valley brewing company"

we love anderson valley brewing company, we drink their beer a lot. but it was so cool to see all of their beers. and to do a beer flight. it was a great start to our weekend in anderson valley.

this may be our christmas card this year...watch out for it.

"off to handley cellars"
nick is too cool for school ALL of the time, but he was really cool when he arranged for us to stay at a winery the weekend of labor day. it was really cool because with the exception of nick it was the rest of our's first time in anderson valley. anderson valley is in mendocino county. and it was the farthest north in california that i have ever been. it was gorgeous. small town tasting like you would find in dry creek. and excellent wines.

the house we stayed in for the weekend, we were on the first floor.

i love this photo of us. how beautiful is the backround?

nick the master grill man. he made an awesome dinner of corn, burgers & hot dogs. and we were relieved that we didn't burn down all of anderson valley.

nick jumping picture...go figure.

"off to the redwoods"
we pulled over on our drive from mendocino back to anderson valley. it was gorgeous. the trees are huge.

another sweet photo of nick jumping...

"off to the academy of sciences"

if you can't tell i am hugging the leg of an elephant...

nick & francie watching a concert in the park. so cute.

us & our really cool african animals we got from handley cellars.
"off to house of prime rib"
so...we were in the dog house for never taking the greens to HOPR. so we finally went. and it was delicious as always. and we had the bonus of meeting linda.
